Pleasures of pedalling

Getting into the hang of riding my new bike. Mostly through Tokyo traffic which takes a bit of getting used to but not so different from riding in London - ie traffic gets backed up and is moving so slowly that its not so dangerous.I now have a decent route to get to capoeira class that doesn't spend too much time on main roads and gets me there in around 40mins. The same trip by train is almost 55 mins. Coming back at 11pm was a bit faster and much nicer with no traffic and nice smooth roads to hammer down. I kinda miss not having the front suspension of my old cannondale - especially when I see a nice gutter to jump off - However huge reduction in rolling resistance makes up for it - the bike goes fast even with minimal pedalling - going up hills is almost a pleasure. All in all glad to be back on a bike again - its been a bit over a year and a half - since I left Canada.
Heres the beast - in all its glory:
